Hilary Hahn, Violin, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Cello, and Benjamin Grosvenor, Piano
There is always a special spark when three soloists come together to make chamber music. When those three soloists are all-stars, that spark ignites into something all the more extraordinary. Violinist Hilary Hahn—making her long-awaited Princeton University Concerts debut and hailed by The Washington Post as “one of the preeminent violinists of our time”—joins two beloved returning artists: cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, celebrated as “the most in-demand cellist in the world” (Bachtrack), and pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, named one of the “50 best classical pianists on record” (Gramophone). Coming together for preciously few engagements, this exciting new collaboration will explore the early chamber music of Ludwig van Beethoven—music that bursts with a similar sense of discovery and daring that lies at the heart of this rare artistic meeting.
