Double Sens Chamber Orchestra with Nemanja Radulović, Violin/Leader
Serbian-French violinist Nemanja Radulović is as close to a rock star as classical music gets—fearless, electrifying, and utterly captivating. He makes his long-awaited Princeton debut with his sparkling Double Sens Chamber Orchestra, an ensemble he founded with his closest Serbian and French friends. Crowned “International Revelation of the Year” at the Victoires de la Musique and winner of the 2024 OPUS KLASSIK Award, Radulović is celebrated for his fiery virtuosity, spontaneous energy, and infectious joy on stage. He brings us a program of his own arrangements for chamber orchestra, giving Beethoven’s monumental Kreutzer Sonata, Bach’s towering Chaconne, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade—drawn from the magical tales of The Thousand and One Nights—a fresh, inspired rendering in which the music unfolds like a story told anew at every turn, full of the thrill of discovering something you have never quite heard before.
